Rx Vitamins For Pets Rx D3 For Dogs and Cats is a palatable, hypoallergenic source of pure cholecalciferol, the precursor to Vitamin D3 for all animals.

• Cholecalciferol is blended with virgin olive oil and diluted sufficiently to enable animals as small as 4 kg to be safely medicated

Research studies in dogs, cats and humans have found Vitamin D3 insufficiency highly correlated with a number of difficult-to-treat chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, renal disease, hyperparathyroidism, and feline tooth resorption.

Directions for usage:
A vitamin D3 test using the VDI Laboratory test kit is recommended in order to establish a safe and effective dosage. Retesting in 8-10 weeks to ensure Vitamin D3 sufficiency is also recommended.

Administer 25 IU per kg per day, or as recommended by your veterinarian. Retesting 25(OH) D3 levels after 30 days and at regular and appropriate intervals thereafter, is highly recommended to ensure safe and efficacious dosing.
